Kota and Paislee

I had to take Zoie to a doctor appointment early one morning when I came back home Paislee was all dressed and had her piggies done. She came running up to me and said Kota did my piggies. I had to take a picture it was so cute. Paislee loves having her hair done in "piggies" so Kota got her dressed and did her piggies for her. What a great big brother.

I can't believe he will be leaving in less than a month. I don't know what I'm going to do without him. I'm trying not to think about it too much and I don't know if thats good or bad. I know he's doing the right thing and we are all going to miss him.

Branding Cows

We headed up to Grandpa and Grandma's a couple weeks ago to brand cows. The kids all love it and Dakota was excited to get in some cow wrangling since he won't get to for the next two years.

Grandpa had to bring in some straw with the tractor.

Zoie, Paislee and Pearl hanging out watching the cows.
Kadee having such a great time ;)
Check out Quinn and this calf....notice the rope?? I'm surprised he didn't get rope burn.
Dakota has him
And he's gone!

Notice the haystack...next time you see Quinn aka his boys or Jake get the story from them and the little pyros.

The crew that did all the work. If you notice we are missing one, Zach, he's out wrangling other calves so to speak he's serving our country giving us our freedom. Please keep him and Drew in your prayers for their safety.

So much going on....

Wow! Am I behind on posting. There has been so much going on with Tyson's baptism, Zoie's blessing and Dakota's mission call besides baseball, end of school, branding cows and everything else.

I thought I'd start with some pics of Tyson's baptism

Tyson asked Dakota to baptize him. Gave him some practice before his mission.

Easter Eggs

The kids had fun dyeing and decorating Easter eggs. I usually buy the kits the year before when they are on clearance for about 25 cents. But this year I saw a monster kit so I had to get it. The kids had a blast with it. Paislee loved coloring and putting stickers on them and Treyden was the king of the monster eggs. He loved it and kept decorating all his eggs to make monsters.

Getting the hang of things

We are starting to get into a schedule with Zoie home. It hasn't been too much of a transition at least on her part. She seems to fit right in. The kids have all been good with her and Paislee loves her. They have their moments more so with Paislee but she has been good.
They love playing together
And they get into lots of trouble together. And yes they were washable markers.

We went to China, We are Home and Zoie is officially ours!

I meant to post on here before we left but things got so crazy so if you want to check out our adoption blog the link is on the top right. We have been home a week and we have officially adopted Zoie (since Feb. 15th) and Zoie is such a little sweetie. We are getting over jet lag and she is doing so well with American food and getting onto our time zone. Yes, she has "designer genes" and we couldn't love her more. She has just fit into our family so well. Right from the moment we got her it was like she knew she was ours. The minute the adoption was final and the ladies from the registration office were telling us in Mandarin, she leaned over to Baba (Tyler) and hugged and kissed him and then leaned over to me and kissed me. She has been so happy and joyful.

The kids have taken to her so well even Paislee which I was a little worried about. They have thier moments but for the most part Paislee has been wonderful with her always hugging her and Zoie has been so patient to let her hug her. We truly have been blessed.

Happy Holidays

I'd love to add pictures to our blog with all the holiday pictures but our internet has been down for over a week and our laptop went out a week and a half ago. It is being fixed right now. Long story short the hard drive went out after Best Buy(don't ever buy anything from them) told us it was our software and to reload our software disc's which erases everything. So all my pictures are gone and scrapbooking kits (luckily Ty had backed them up on our external hard drive :)) So we took it back in to Best Buy and they now said it was a hardware issue that is covered under our warranty. So for now I hope all of you have had a Merry Christmas. Wishing you a wonderful and Happy New Year. Hope its a great year for all of you and a better year for us.
