You Know You're a Redneck.....

Look closely at the candles. Look closer, they aren't glowing brightly with flames. We were out of candles and Tyson wanted to blow out candles for his birthday. So we used the next best thing...yup, toothpicks!!
He kindof had a hard time blowing them out. They just kept burning!!

Treyden helped me decorate cupcakes!!

Then he ate the cupcakes.

Yes, Soccer can be played on a deck

We celebrated Dakota and Tyson's birthday at my mom's last weekend. The uncles and cousins decided to play a game of soccer. The deck was flat so it seemed to be the best place to play.
Quinn's going in for the kill. Colin is the goalie.
The game is getting a little intense here.

*I got Photoshop for Christmas so I've been trying it out in my sparetime(yeah right)I know I went a little photo crazy above but its fun playing with it.

Some more Easter Fun

This is the first picture we took. Dakota is so tall I decided to take them on the floor. See below.
This is Tyler's side of the family on Easter (on his mom's side).
I know I should turn these and then post but I have a helper today sitting on my lap sucking on my arm. Not happening, you'll just have to turn your head.

Chocolate Marshmallow, Craft Day

On Thursday I got together with a couple of my aunts, a couple of my cousins and their kids for a Craft Day. It was fun!! We had lunch made some bows and tutus. I only got a couple of bows done and my cousin made one for me. I needed one to match Paislee's Easter dress.

I also made some chocolate marshmallow eggs. I've never made them before and it was fun. I made the marshmallow stuff and had Dakota and Tyson dip them in the chocolate and then the kids decorated them. They turned out pretty good.
These are the molds out of flour.
This is the marshmallow poured into the molds (hard to tell the difference)

These are a few that the kids decorated.

HaPpY BiRtHdAy DaKoTa!!

Today is Dakota's 17th BiRtHdAy!!

I can't believe he is 17!! My how the time flies. And it really does.

Here is Dakota when he was 8 months old. Cute isn't he!!!

Not sure what to do for him other than cook his requested dinner from Rachel Ray Italian mini meatloaves with Italian mac & cheese.

Maybe we will make a sign for him with some balloons. I know Tyson & Treyden will love it but not sure about Dakota. It's hard when they get older.
