Happy Holidays

I'd love to add pictures to our blog with all the holiday pictures but our internet has been down for over a week and our laptop went out a week and a half ago. It is being fixed right now. Long story short the hard drive went out after Best Buy(don't ever buy anything from them) told us it was our software and to reload our software disc's which erases everything. So all my pictures are gone and scrapbooking kits (luckily Ty had backed them up on our external hard drive :)) So we took it back in to Best Buy and they now said it was a hardware issue that is covered under our warranty. So for now I hope all of you have had a Merry Christmas. Wishing you a wonderful and Happy New Year. Hope its a great year for all of you and a better year for us.

Man vs Food Party

We went with the hot & spicy theme. Everyone was supposed to bring a hot & spicy dish. Well Quinn brought some macho nacho peppers from his garden. Thought they would be good for nachos when he planted them well I guess you have to be super macho to eat them. They were hotter than haities. Here's some pics of the "macho bros" daring each other to eat them.
Zach trying to act as if the intense burning is not really that hot.
Finally had to give in and drink some milk to help the pain...

Here Quinn is busting a gut because he knows how hot those peppers are.

Zach is still relishing in the pain. Jake if you notice is in the background making fresh salsa with the macho nacho peppers.

Heber Family Shindig

I am so behind on blogging lately and again. I'm going to try to do better but we'll see....
Here's some pictures of our last summer hoorah! We went up to Heber Girls Camp with Tyler's family. Richard and Janeen were on a mission there and had a family reunion over Labor Day since there were no more girls coming up for the year. It was fun. The kids and us adults got to climb a 25 foot pole (I think it was that high) go across a wire and then zip line down. We all loved it. (for some reason the photos aren't loading will work on this later)

School Days Part 2

Treyden was so excited for his first day of kindergarten. He had to wait for a week and half after Tyson started. It was hard for him but when the time came he was ready.

Tyson being a big brother helping Treyden on the bus.

School Days

Tyson's first day of school. He couldn't decide if he wanted to ride the bus or have me take him. In the end he rode the bus.

Recap on Jones Reunion

I am so behind on posting lately so since the kids are back in school and I'm trying to get my routine down again I thought I'd post some pics from the Family Reunion at Bear Lake.
Burying Andre in the sand. It wasn't very warm that day and he was freezing.
Hanging out on the beach watching the kids swim.
Dakota and Sierra walking out of the water. The older "kids" stayed out in the water playing with a football and playing around.

Paislee with her cheeser smile.

Update on adoption

We have a blog set up to document our adoption journey. It's still new in the making. You can check it out at:

www.fairiesfrogsfortunecookies.blogspot.com

I think I'll be making another one because I've heard google and blogger are blocked in China. So stay tuned. We are about 10-13 weeks out on travel. That will put us travelling in October or November. We are really excited.

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to Park City with my family for the weekend. The weather was so nice and it even got a little cool. Here's some pics:
All the kids rode in the double jogging stoller, which I love by the way. Even fits through doors and turns on a dime.

Graduation Day

Today is the big day!! Dakota is graduating. I can't believe how fast the time went by. They grow up so fast. It's like the old saying (can't remember it exactly) but cherish your kids, play with them, laugh with them, have fun, because in the blink of an eye they are grown up and gone. Its so true.

I'll post pictures later.

Camera

I haven't posted for a while. I got a new camera and haven't taken the time to look for the USB cord to download my pics. I'm having to much fun with my camera. My Nikon cool pics is a great camera I love that I can stick it in my pocket and it goes so easily in my diaper bag in a pocket made just for it. The only problem it doesn't zoom in very far and I cropped and printed some pictures and the cropped pictures came out blurry. I went in to Best Buy and asked them about it and they said they have had a lot of them returned because after a while the pictures come out fuzzy or blurry. So I got a new camera.

I will try to get some updates this weekend.

Differences

I've noticed a few differences in having boys and then a girl. Paislee loves fruit, will try most any vegetable (whether she continues to eat it or not is a different story) she says yes instead of no. I know where did she come from? I thought most toddlers learned no long before yes but I'll ask her something like do you need your diaper changed and she'll say yes. I'll say should we go change it she'll answer yes and then head to her room so we can change her. I'll ask her if she wants to go outside or something to eat and its yes. Having a girl is fun with all the bows (that get ripped off her head in less than 2 seconds) and all the cute clothes which she totally loves, the boys could care less about their clothes. She will walk around cuddling her jacket or a new outfit that one of the grandmas has given her.

Here she is trying Cream O' Wheat for the first time and loving every minute of it.

The Winter Ball has come forth and Jessica did asketh Dakota:

This was on our door.

These are the peasants rejoicing.

Dakota did answereth back but I didn'st get thee a whole picture to showeth. Hence forth this is not a good posteth.

He put silk rose petals all over the inside of her car and filled it with balloons tied to a bag of chocolates with a little brag book that had:

Kindof cheeseth but it worketh.

So the dance is tomorrow. I kept thinking it was next week. Crap I think I need to order a flower. UHhh! Got to go.

Sleighriding

The kids went sledding the day after Christmas at Grandma's house.

Paislee's first time sledding. Uncle Jake took her down the hill. She loved it.
