Back to School

Dakota and Tyson started Back to School on Monday.
I told Dakota I needed a picture of him for his last year of school, well last year of secondary school anyway. I can't believe he is a senior. They grow up so fast!! His new "diggs". Skater shoes, you gotta love them.
Tyson is a first grader this year. He was so excited for school and to eat lunch and recess.

Here he is getting on the bus. He wanted to ride the bus on the first day. Tyler told him it would break my heart. I took Dakota to school on his first day up until 5th grade I think. I told him it was fine if he wanted to ride the bus. He was so excited!! It all worked out because Treyden was still sleeping.

Island Park

We went to Island Park and into West Yellowstone.

. It hailed while we were there. It was so nice and cool a great escape from the 100 degree heat we were having here. The nights were in the 40's. Paislee touching her first "snow".
.

Horse back riding

The kids wanted to ride a horse so bad after seeing the rodeo so Grandpa Gene set up a horse that was kid friendly for the kids to ride.
Tyson loved it. His hat was a little big and it kept sliding down over his face.

Treyden with his army hat riding. He didn't want a cowboy hat. He loves soldiers.

I love this picture of Treyden. He was sad and pouting because Tyson got to ride first so he went and sat in the barn on the hay.
This is Paislee's "kid friendly horse". Just right for her.

Shooting

We all like to go shooting when we are up in Malad. We usually have a shooting contest. Zach wasn't there to make the competition spicy so we just did what we could.

More Stone Rodeo

Jake and Pearl having fun.
Tyson loved being up close to the rodeo.
Quinn and Steph and family enjoying the good ole' rodeo burgers.
Paislee was having fun at her first rodeo. It was a little hot though.

Stone Rodeo

We spent the weekend of July 24th at Grandpa Gene's for a family reunion. We went to the Stone Rodeo.
Tyson spent a lot of the time by the fence watching the rodeo close up.
What's a rodeo without good ole' rootbeer.
Chase and Trey hung out under the bleachers playing during the rodeo.

Dakota, Grandpa Gene and Sandy watching the rodeo and eating rodeo burgers.

Family get together

Ty found one of his old cowboy hats at his grandma's and Tyson loved it.

We got together with Ty's family for the fireworks for Pioneer Day. We always go to his grandma's house. It's right across the street and you don't have to mess with the crowd and we book it at the finale and get in the car and leave to miss all the traffic. We decided to take a family picture (even though my hair was up). It was hot and we had the wooden leg and I wanted a picture with it.

Trampoline time

The boys are burning snakes. They love fireworks.Paislee checking out the trampoline. She loved playing with the basketball.
She finally decided to roll over on it. She wasn't quite sure at first.

She's crawling on it now and really liking it.

Bad blogger hmmmm sounds familiar

I can't believe I am so far behind on my blog. I've been on the computer everyday but on FB. Ok I'm truly addicted to it and I usually check my email. I better start updating AGAIN. I'm getting really bad at this these days. All I can say is school is getting closer to starting and back to my good ole' routine. Which will be good because by the time summer ends the kids are up til 10:30 - 11 sometimes and my whole cleaning routine has gone down the toilet.

This year with Tyson in 1st grade Dakota a senior and Trey in preschool I'll have a little time with me and Paislee and hopefully time for my routine.
