Funny Sayings

Check out the new addition to my blog on my sidebar. I've seen this on a lot of blogs and decided to do it. Putting down the funny things my kids say before I forget, which I have a lot already. Most of these are from Treyden. He is such a crack up. I've forgotten most of Tyson's already and I don't want to forget anymore.

Homecoming Dance Time

Dakota asked a girl to homecoming. He used Lexi's idea with Oreo cookies, opening the middle of some of them and putting paper inside them that said Will you go to the homecoming dance with me? D a k o t a
On the outside of the oreo cookie wrapper (container) we put Fiddle in the middle to figure out the riddle. (I should have taken a picture but didn't think about it at the time.)

Here's some pictures of how she answered back:

In the very back of the car under all of the shredded newspaper was the answer which was YES! (I didn't take a picture til later)

Grandma Cole

Grandma Cole died last week.
Dorothy Mary Hadley Cole
October 9, 1917 - August 29, 2009

We had her funeral on Thursday. For those of you that don't know her its Tyler's grandma, his mom's mom and the kids great grandma. She was 91 years old. I've been trying to get my pictures I have of her. I have to go from one computer to the next so hopefully I can get them in order.

She was a great lady and grandma. She was always making me laugh. Dorothy had was very spunky, quick witted and stubborn. She always showed unconditionl love, was honest and feisty. Those are just a few of her wonderful traits. Tyler spoke at her funeral for all the grandkids he did a wonderful job. I learned so much more about her. She loved to serve others and in the end let others serve her.

She had some great and funny sayings here are a few:

-Scratch where it itches even in your britches.
-Better out than an eye ???(This one took some explaining I guess if you don't let it out your eye will burst?)
-Need to water my donkey
- No brain no pain
-Once an adult twice a child
-Many carry a stool when there is a piano to move

We love you Grandma
